I need some help. New to customizing. I have a couple of the 1/6 M1 Carbine rifle slings. I am wondering what would be the best way to thread the strap back through the buckle. The fit is tight. I have tried micro tweezers and a needle threader with no luck so far. Is there a certain tool I should be using? No luck with internet search either.

Which brand of M1 Carbine do you have? You shouldn't have to mess with removing the buckle ... most of the M1 Carbines have a pin in the stock of the rifle which is usually easily removed. Just remove the pin and thread the pin between the sling then reinsert the pin with the sling back into the stock. The front of the sling has a lift the dot fastener so that is simply unfastened and inserted into the sling mount then refasten the fastener. If you send me an e-mail I'll show you in a few photos ... I'll eventually post it here but I'll have to get my taxes done first before can figure out how to post photos; I'm sure it's easy but this new website is still something that's totally new to me so I'm trying to catch up on many fronts.
