Officers gold sleeve knots

Your officer jackets are beautiful mini pieces of art....but they all have 1 row of braiding which denotes 1st and 2nd Lieutenants.....I have a Captain (2 rows) and a Colonel (3 rows) in the works.....this has been a huge obstacle....is there anything you can suggest?

Unfortunately I can suggest only two options. If the figure is going to be static and not moved around then it would be possible to glue a gold braid in place. The only other option is to hand embroider the other rows. I think you'll find that the gold thread is not like a regular thread, rather it's exceptionally difficult to embroider with ... as a result, we opted not to do so. Also, each additional row would add $7.00 to the cost which means a General's frock currently retailing for $26.99 would end up being nearly $48. The average customer just won't tolerate such a price.
